Beachside Villa at Boca Catalina
The Beachside Villa at Boca Catalina is a luxury vacation rental home on the Gold Coast of Aruba steps away from Boca Catalina beach
In December 2018 we rented this lovely home for a week. We were a family of 5 siblings all in our 60’s looking for a place for a Family get together and after looking at many rentals- this place seemed to fit all of our needs. We all could not have aske for anymore in a great vacation rental. The house had everything you needed, including pool floats, beach chairs snorkeling equipment and much more. The Spaciousness of the home was wonderful- Outside a lovely pool area then a large garden Area and a Beautiful Gazebo on the other side of the Backyard- Everything in the back yard including the pool could be lite up for the evening. Then a Large outside covered area , with a dining area small area with TV ( We spent alot of time there eating breakfast playing cards- etc. Inside there was a living area and large kitchen area with another eating area. Most definetely alot of room to spread out if you are coming with a large group of people. The Area where the house is located is a lovely residential just around the corner from a small but great beach for snorkeling- It was wonderful- Just put on your mask and fins and into the water and right away you feel like you we in a aquararium surrounded by many fish. It was so convient to the house that we were always at one of the beach up along the road 2 times and sometimes 3 times a day. Both the Owner Linda- Was Wonderful to Talk with while We were deciding where to Stay in Aruba and also the Rental Staff was GREAT!! Although we only had some minors things that needed to be addressed- the Rental Staff was right on top of things and all in all we would certainly go back there ago. I felt we had the best of both worlds with out stay there. We Would Highly recommend this Villa to anyone. Oh And LINDA- Yes There is Sea Glass to be found on the Island-Kate
We stayed at the Garden Villa with our three year old, our 9 month old and their grandparents and boy did this house have a wonderful layout for our family and the grandparents to spread out into separate rooms and beds including the 2nd floor suite for the grandparents with the balcony overlooking the ocean and sunsets. The walk to the beach, Boca Catalina, was less than 2 mins and the snorkling equipment at the house was spectacular. The pool was wonderful (a bit chilly) and the grounds were so well kept. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio and grounds for relaxing and playing with our 3 year old in particular. The kitchen and all the furnishings were high quality and the 4 beds were quite comfortable (2 kings, 2 queens). Washer / Dryer came in handy to come home with mostly clean clothes and the location was far enough away from the traffic but close enough to make a short drive to all of our favorite restaurants. We hope to come back! We also have rented from Matthew and Anna many times and consider this Garden Villa one of the top 2-3 places on the entire island for our family.
With Hurricane Irma closing our regular resort in the USVI, we chose to go to Aruba and found this great little gem! There were three couples in our party, and the accommodations couldn’t have been better suited to our needs. Plenty of room, yet plenty of privacy when needed. Because of it being the rainy season, nagging bugs in the outdoor living area meant we could properly use this space, but it wasn’t for lack of trying! Really appreciated being able to use the provided beach towels and chairs, and the very short walk to Boca Catalina Beach meant access to one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. We had a couple of small issues during our stay, but the staff responded very quickly. Should we decide to return, this property will definitely get a second look!
We just returned from a week in Aruba, staying in the Garden Villa – 3 couples celebrating our husband’s 60th birthdays. The house was absolutely perfect for us – 3 large bedrooms each with their own private bathroom, a large and completely outfitted kitchen and a huge outdoor living area. We spent most of our time (when not on the beach) in the pool, gazebo or outdoor living room. We were very happy to find provided beach chairs – more than enough for the 6 of us – coolers, pool toys, beach and pool towels and snorkel equipment. We were all impressed with how all our needs/wants were anticipated and provided for. We did have a problem one night with the air in the upper bedroom – our error as we had turned it off by accident. But the on call staff was wonderful and returned our calls, kept us updated and scheduled repairs late even though it was late in the night. Luckily we found the problem and corrected it, but I felt they went above and beyond helping us. Everyone we dealt with from AVVH was professional and friendly – from checking us in, dealing with our problem and answering any miscellaneous questions we had. I would recommend anyone renting this unit have a rental car – the beach is very easy access from the house but grocery and restaurants are not walkable. The area was quiet and we all felt very safe in the neighborhood. Snorkeling at Arashi Beach was excellent and became our “go to” beach. We are certainly hoping to return to this unit again!
Recently stayed at Garden Villa and loved it. Had two adults and three teens. Layout is perfect with 2nd floor bedroom, bath and porch. Downstairs has two bedrooms and baths. Nice large kitchen, the outdoor dinning area was great for us. A short walk to great snorkeling beach. High rise hotels are about a mile away. very quiet area although there is traffic on main road going to light house and north shore area. pool was refreshing after a day on the beach. 4th visit to Aruba and by far our best yet
Our family recently stayed at the beautiful Garden villa. the management company is very easy to work with and responded to any question quickly. the villa is equipped with everything you could need. It has a beautiful garden that you can view while eating breakfast. the pool is very nice and because the property is behind a tall fence, it is very private. The location is away from the tourist areas but easy to get to restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms make it perfect for families with older kids.
We recently stayed at the Garden Villa the week of September 19 – 2015. Working with Matt and Anna was easy and professional. We couldn’t ask for a smoother transaction. The Garden Villa was in terrific condition. We stayed at this Villa several times in the past and it was nice to see the many improvements made to the property, furniture, kitchen…ect. The Villa is in a great safe location across from Boca Catalina Beach, just steps away. You can easily walk to the beach. The beach has great snorkeling and the tropical fish are abundant to view. We been to many beach’s on the island and think this is the best. We will be back!
